When you take Gut Tea
It is recommended that you drink Gut Tea twice a day, every morning upon rising before your first meal and about one hour before you go to bed. It’s no big deal if you forget; just drink it when you remember.
Pour a cup of near boiling water over one Gut Tea bag and let it infuse for 3-5 minutes before drinking. You can simply remove the teabag with a spoon or leave it to continue infusing in the cup whilst drinking if you prefer a stronger taste. The pyramid tea bags we use allow for the best infusion.
Some helpful hints
- For a sweeter taste add a dash of honey
- For a more bitter taste add some lemon juice or a slice of lemon or lime.
- If you prefer weaker tea reduce brewing time to 1 minute and re-use the tea bag for the night drink
